The Road Less Traveled by M. Scott Peck is a brilliant book. I can't remember how I happened upon it several years ago, but I read it and really enjoyed it. M. Scott Peck is a psychotherapist with a lot of experience. In this book, he shares his views on the problems most people face and how to overcome them. This class should be the textbook for Psychology 101, rather than the worthless text I read. This is the psychology people want to know about, not about experiments with rats and how the brain synapses make connections.
I have not read The Road Less Traveled lately, but I have read it several times. It is always a refereshing and quick read. I have also read many of M. Scott Peck's other books and recommend him as one of my favorite authors.
