This holiday season, to guide your viewing:
1. It's a Wonderful Life - I love the alternate reality
2. Family Man - another fun alternate reality movie - this time in reverse from "It's a Wonderful Life"
3. Miracle on 34th Street - 1994 version is better
4. The Grinch Who Stole Christmas - go for the cartoon version - the Jim Carrey version is awful
5. A Christmas Carol - George Scott version or the 1938 version
6. A Christmas Story - You'll shoot your eye out.
7. A Charlie Brown Christmas
8. Home Alone - it's actually kind of funny (though you should watch it only with kids)
9. Ernest Saves Christmas - I haven't seen this since I was a kid, but I still remember his rendition of "O Christmas Tree"
10. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation - good for a few laughs.

Good point. Although I probably left it out because it has been so long since I have seen it that I don't remember a bit of it.
