How to Hug a Porcupine by John Lund (1999)
5 stars out of 5
I rank John Lund as one of my favorite self help authors, and this book is no exception to his usual great fare. In this book he focuses on how to deal with difficult people. Of course, it is easy to see how you are sometimes a difficult person too, and so is helpful in that respect.
I found this to be particularly applicable to being a parent - not that my kids are porcupines, but they could be or I could potentially be to them. It's a great book on relationships in general, as are most of John Lund's books. Highly recommended to everyone.
