5 stars out of 5
This is the story of a teenage Jewish girl in Poland in World War II. The book is divided into three parts, pre-camp, camp and rescue. It is a beautifully written book. Compared to a recent Holocaust book I read, it was very engaging and a joy to read. It is short (only about 250 pages) and can be read very quickly. Highly recommended for anyone who thinks they are having a bad day or life.
